What does a criminal record include?

• Theft, fraud, swindling, forgery or an attempt to do so

• Destruction of or damage to property

• An offence directed against freedom or life, or an attempt to do so

• Assault, extortion or an attempt to do so

• Violation of the Weapons and Ammunition Act, the Opium Act or the Economic Offences Act

• A traffic offence, such as driving under the influence, speeding by more than 50 km/h or leaving the scene after a collision
